Child and Family Intervention is the core mental health treatment program, comprising assessment, treatment planning and implementation, termination and follow-up, within a multidisciplinary and case management approach. Treatment may include therapy for the child/adolescent and their family as well as social skills group therapy. |
| Children's Mobile Crisis Program |
In partnership with l'Hôpital Régional de Sudbury Regional Hospital (HRSRH) the program provides crisis services 24 hour a day, seven days a week. | Day Treatment Program |
This program, jointly established with the local school boards, provides clinical intervention in the classroom to serve students with social, emotional or behavioural difficulties. This program is offered at local schools and administered out of the main office. |
| Early Years Mental Health 0-6 |
This program addresses mental health problems in children, from birth to 6 years of age, and their families with intensive, flexible mental health treatment services in their homes, schools and communities. Individual child therapy, family- or group-based treatment, address child development and parenting skill development. |
| Intensive Child and Family Intervention |
This program provides children with an intensive, flexible mental health treatment service in their home, schools and/or communities through Child and Youth Worker services attached to a child and family team. |
| Kids Share |
The program boasts an extensive inventory of books, tapes, videos, games, puppets and toys as a means to stimulate the early learning process. Its focus is on children 0 to 6 years of age. This is a mobile program offered at a variety of locations and administered out of the main office. |
| Psychology/Developmental Program |
This program provides psychological assessments and clinical supports and services for children and youth with suspected or diagnosed Global Developmental Disability. These services include diagnostics, clinical assessments, consultations and interventions to meet behavioural/mental health needs as required. |
