Pioneer Manor, Northern Ontario’s largest long-term care facility, serves residents 18 years of age and older who have long-term health care needs. Pioneer Manor is home to 402 residents who are provided with 24 hours of supervision. At Pioneer Manor, residents receive comprehensive, individualized and responsive care. Those referred through the Community Care Access Centre have care needs that can no longer be met in the community. A holistic approach ensures that all of the dimensions of personal care are considered, including the person's spiritual, emotional and physical well-being.
