Did You Know?....

...The club is planning a Christmas Party for December 2, 2007 at the Lougheed Centre, 328 Albert St., Sudbury. It will be a family event, mostly for the younger members of the club with some treats and of course a special visit from Santa.

...If anyone would like to contribute to our annual news letter please e-mail us at camas_@persona.ca or e-mail Darlene at dublin@personainternet.com  no later than November 15, 2007. Maybe you have a story about your trip home to Ireland in 2007 or a special event in your family to share. We're not looking for the great novel but a nice brief article would be ideal.

...The club recently introduced Honorary Memberships to those 80 years of age and older. This was no doubt a pleasant surprise for those loyal members who have supported us throughout the years. It's a well deserved this tip of the hat to those folks who we know appreciate the gesture.

...One of the things the club does is send out cards to members who are sick or recovering from an illness or operation. They also acknowledge the passing of a loved one. If you know of someone who should be contacted let us know and we'll try to get the appropriate card to them.
