St. James is a community-focussed church offering Sunday School, a nursery, bible studies, a women’s club and an Alpha program. A contemporary service of worship each Sunday at 9:30 a.m. includes guitars, drum, praise music, sermon and the Lord's Supper. A traditional service of worship is held at 11:00 a.m. which includes organ, piano, choir, a fine sermon and the Lord's Supper. Throughout July and August, only one service is held on Sundays, at 10:00 a.m.

Name Description
Alpha Christian Introductory Course Alpha is an international introductory course concerning the Christian faith and runs for 10 weeks. Each session includes a meal and discussion groups.
Coffee Hour Following the contemporary service, and prior to the traditional service every Sunday there is a coffee hour in which people of the Church get to know one another over coffee and refreshments. All are welcome.
Wednesday Night Spiritual Studies Every Wednesday night there is either a Bible study or book club (related to faith and spirituality) in which participation is encouraged and welcomed.
