The Roxborough Greenbelt is now Public Greenspace!

This week, the Real Estate transaction closed, and the Roxborough Greenbelt officially became public greenspace!
Thanks again to everyone for their support - together we did it!

On August 13, City Council gave final approval of the agreement that will bring the Roxborough Greenbelt into City ownership, to be protected as public greenspace. |

Just in time for Earth Day, Friends of the Roxborough Greenbelt passed the $50,000 in our fundraising. We have now officially completed our commitment of a $50,000 contribution towards the acquisition of the Roxborough Greenbelt as public greenspace. ... |

Entire Roxborough Greenbelt to be protected!

We have Council approval – for the entire piece!
We have succeeded in our wish to protect the entire Roxborough Greenbelt.
Now, it remains to fulfill our commitment for a community contribution of
$50,000. We are about half way there already.
